Description

"Salvator Mundi" means "Savior of the World" and is a famous painting usually attributed to Leonardo da Vinci . It depicts Jesus Christ with his right hand raised in a blessing gesture and his left hand holding a globe (globa cruciger) symbolizing the Earth. The painting sold for a record $450.3 million in 2017, the highest price ever paid for any artwork.
